Over 70 years ago, in 1952, our founder Dr. Donald Reimer set off on a journey that we’re still on today. With a single truck and a vision to change
transportation in Canada, Reimer Express was born.
Following over 50 years of growth and multiple acquisitions, the Reimer family exited the traditional transportation market in 1997. Reimer Express had grown to become one of the largest LTL carriers in Canada and was sold to Roadway, the largest LTL carrier in North America.
But that wasn’t the end of the road. Far from it. Since 1997 Dr. Reimer and the Reimer family have continued doing what they’ve done all along: changing the Canadian transportation business. By growing and acquiring multiple transportation companies and facilities across Canada and the US, the Reimer brand has once again built a dynamic network of top-in-class LTL carriers, stretching from Vancouver Island and the Yukon to the Maritimes and virtually all points south.
